LOST AND FOUND

Many items are left by students throughout the year. A lost and found box will be available for parent to find their child’s items. All unclaimed items will be donated to charity at the end of the school year. It is recommended that parents label all student clothing and supplies.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR PROGRAMS

Universal students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities.  Holiday programs, field trips, assemblies, graduation and award programs, and other ceremonies are considered co-curricular activities that students must meet the requirements to participate.  Parents are also encouraged to help develop and support further activities such as scouting, sport teams, and clubs.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is provided through your child’s school districts. Districts that do not provide transportation are:

•Buffalo

•Lackawanna

•Any district beyond 15 mile radius of school

No transportation is provided for Pre-K students.  Deadlines for application of transportation requests are April 1st for ALL school districts.

Students who are transported home daily will be sent downstairs to greet their parent on the first floor upon parent arrival. Parents are not encouraged to go upstairs during dismissal to pick-up their child as it is disruptive to the class. Students will not be dismissed before 3:15 unless parents are picking up students for a pre-arranged early dismissal.
